Install
Two kits, three ways in, and the one prompt that sets an agent up.
Let your agent do it
Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or any coding agent, in an empty folder or an existing Expo or Next.js project:
Read https://<this site>/install.md and follow it to set up the kit for this project. Then read AGENTS.md and DESIGN_SYSTEM.md, and build only from the components they list.
The agent reads /install.md, picks the right path below, and then reads the kit's
AGENTS.md and DESIGN_SYSTEM.md before writing UI.
Or do it yourself
Not yet: copying a single kit
A kit copied out on its own installs @itshendri/kit-tokens from npm, which is not published yet, so
npm install fails. Until it is, clone the whole repo (the Monorepo tab) and work in apps/mobile or
apps/web.
Copy just the kit you need into a new folder and run it. A phone app:
npx giget@latest gh:itsHendri/protokit/apps/mobile my-prototype
cd my-prototype && npm install
npm run ios # or: npm run web, npm run dev (Expo Go on a phone)A web app:
npx giget@latest gh:itsHendri/protokit/apps/web my-prototype
cd my-prototype && npm install
npm run dev # http://localhost:3100Then rename it, re-brand it and remove the samples: see Native setup or Web setup.
